Ryan and Faulds has a rich history of providing land surveying services throughout Fairfield County since 1961. We were founded by the late Richard M. Ryan and Russell G. Faulds in 1961 under the name of Richard M. Ryan, Land Surveyor. It later became Ryan and Faulds, Land Surveyors and subsequently Ryan and Faulds, LLC. In 1970, we acquired the survey records of the S. W. Hoyt, Jr., Co., Inc., Bryan Associates, C. N. Wood Associates, and W. B. Ryder Co. substantially increasing our database of survey information, which we use frequently in the preparation of modern survey mapping. In 2015, Ryan and Faulds was acquired by Redniss & Mead. Combined, the firms serve all of Fairfield, New Haven and Westchester Counties.

We are licensed in Connecticut and are members of the Connecticut Association of Land Surveyors, Inc. and Land Surveyors in Private Practice, Inc. We are also members of The New England Section of the American Congress of Surveying and Mapping, the National Society of Professional Surveyors, and the Wilton Chamber of Commerce.

In 2015, we joined forces with Redniss & Mead, the Stamford based land use consulting firm specializing in civil engineering, planning and zoning consulting, permitting and land surveying. Douglas Faulds and our surveyors continue to serve clients from our Wilton office.

You can expect a continuation of our dedication to excellence in land surveying, but from this point on, know that our combined team can take your project all the way through the development process from conception to completion. Together, we have the ability to work in-house in close collaboration with a team of experts in civil engineering, planning and zoning, and permitting services to ensure that your development process is streamlined, and your needs are handled seamlessly from one phase to another with professionalism.
